" Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn."
– Benjamin Franklin
In the Medina of Marrakesh, you’re surrounded by a network of craftsmen & an abundance of raw materials for the co-creation of handmade lights & decorations. Each craftsmen has their specific skills & traditions. Among the raw materials you’ll find different kinds of wood, colors of glass, metals & a whole range of amazing fabrics.
During the co-creation of his second collection “The tunes of the Divine”, Steven was able to work & co-create with many different artisans & boutiques. He was able to select his own little co-creation network based on his experiences with each of them. The combination of clarity, honesty & engagement isn’t obvious. As you might experience, the expression “Inshallah” has many interpretations.
The process of co-creation has been Steven’s focus & main topic of exploration for the last decade. He learned that the process reflects how we co-create with life on a daily basis.
Besides the network of artisans & suppliers, Steven offers his assistance if you would like to engage in the co-creation of your own unique light. This can start by personalizing an existing design to the co-creation of something completely new.
